Conditions and exclusions

2.1 Refrigerant compatibility

The promotional price applies exclusively to eligible vehicles fitted with R134a air-conditioning systems. Vehicles using R1234yf or any other refrigerant type are excluded from this promotion.

2.2 Additional R134a refrigerant — Standard non-promotional rates

The promotional price includes a maximum of 400 grams of R134a refrigerant.

Any additional R134a refrigerant required beyond the included 400 grams will be charged at TPD's standard non-promotional retail rate.

Additional charges will be advised to the customer and require approval before proceeding. The correct refrigerant quantity will be determined according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.

2.3 Air-conditioning system condition

The air-conditioning system must be suitable for servicing and recharging. Where a system is found to have a known or suspected refrigerant leak, significant damage, contamination or another condition preventing safe servicing, TPD may suspend the service and recommend further diagnosis or repairs. Refrigerant will not knowingly be charged into a system with an unresolved leak.

2.4 UV leak testing and diagnosis

The promotional service does not include comprehensive air-conditioning leak detection, detailed UV leak testing, electronic leak detection, pressure testing or component fault diagnosis. UV dye may assist with subsequent leak detection; however, the inclusion of UV dye does not constitute a comprehensive leak test or guarantee that the system is free from leaks. A successful vacuum cycle does not guarantee that a refrigerant leak is absent. Additional leak testing or diagnosis will be quoted separately.

2.5 Schrader valves and service ports

Replacement or repair of air-conditioning service-port Schrader valves, valve cores, seals, service fittings or damaged charging ports is not included in the promotional price. Any necessary repairs or replacement components will be quoted separately and require customer approval.

2.6 Additional components and repairs

The following are not included in the promotional service:

• Air-conditioning compressor repairs or replacement.

• Condensers, evaporators, hoses and refrigerant pipes.

• Expansion valves, pressure switches and sensors.

• Electrical fault diagnosis or repairs.

• Drive belt replacement or adjustment.

• Cabin/pollen filter replacement.

• Air-conditioning system flushing or contamination removal.

• Repairs to refrigerant leaks or damaged components.

2.7 Air-conditioning performance

Air-conditioning performance is dependent on the condition and operation of the complete system. A refrigerant service alone may not resolve poor cooling performance caused by worn, faulty or damaged components. No particular vent temperature or cooling performance is guaranteed where existing system faults prevent normal operation. This does not affect any rights relating to the quality of TPD's workmanship.

Summer Express — 120-Minute Combination Package

Promotional Price: $388 including GST

The Summer Express combination package includes both the 60-Minute Oil Service and the 60-Minute Air Conditioning Service when booked and completed together on the same eligible vehicle.

• Summer Express AC Service: $199 including GST.

• Combined individual promotional prices: $398 including GST.

• Summer Express Combination Package: $388 including GST.

• Total saving: $10 including GST.

Conditions and exclusions

3.1 Package eligibility

The vehicle must meet the eligibility requirements for both individual services.

3.2 Package inclusions

All inclusions, quantity limits, conditions and exclusions outlined in Sections 1 and 2 apply to the combination package.

3.3 Additional oil and refrigerant

The combination package includes a maximum of 4 litres of Motul 10W40 engine oil and 400 grams of R134a refrigerant.

Any additional engine oil or R134a refrigerant required beyond these quantities will be charged at TPD's standard non-promotional retail rates.

Specialist filters, alternative oil specifications, leak diagnosis, replacement components and repairs are not included in the combination price. Any additional chargeable work will be quoted and approved before proceeding.

3.4 Incomplete package

If one service cannot be completed due to vehicle suitability, safety concerns or an identified fault, TPD will discuss the available options and applicable charges with the customer before proceeding. The combination discount applies only where both promotional services are completed together on the same vehicle.

General Promotional Conditions

4.1 Bookings

Bookings are essential. All promotional services are subject to workshop availability.

4.2 Service duration

The advertised 60-minute and 120-minute service periods are intended appointment durations for eligible vehicles under normal workshop conditions. Additional time may be required due to vehicle condition, access difficulties, system faults, additional authorised work or other unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be advised of material delays where reasonably practicable.

4.3 Vehicle eligibility

TPD may assess vehicle eligibility before accepting a promotional booking. Modified, specialist, high-performance, commercial or otherwise non-standard vehicles may require an individually quoted service.

4.4 Additional charges

Additional engine oil, refrigerant, specialist lubricants, non-standard filters, replacement components, diagnostic work and repairs are excluded unless expressly included in the relevant package.

Additional oil and R134a refrigerant exceeding the advertised package quantities will be charged at standard non-promotional retail rates.

Any additional chargeable work requires customer approval.

4.5 Existing faults and vehicle condition

Promotional inspections are limited to the checks described in the relevant package. They do not constitute a guarantee of overall vehicle condition, reliability, roadworthiness or freedom from defects.

4.6 Promotional availability

Offers are available for a limited promotional period, subject to appointment availability. The promotion's start and end dates will be communicated in the relevant advertising or booking information.

4.7 Combining promotional offers

The Summer Express promotional prices cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers unless expressly authorised by TPD.

4.8 Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand legislation.
