Over the last year, if you have been following us through on Facebook, you may have seen a close relationship between Torque Performance and R Developments

It’s been 29 years since Torque Performance was established by Robin, and he feels it’s time to hand over the reins and look forward to retirement. So going forward, Daniel, the general manager of Torque Performance, and director of R Developments, JP, are to take over the business with Torque Performance and R Developments combining.

This new business venture has the blessing of Honda New Zealand, so our authorised Honda Service Centre division of the business will carry on as usual.

Existing customers not need to worry as Robin will still be floating around and will be involved with the tuning a couple of days a week, until he feels the new owners are up to speed.

The new dynamic means we will be able to provide top of the line performance vehicle offerings from start to finish. All in house; custom fabrication to the final tune.

Due to the change; we will be relocating the equipment from R Developments workshop to the Torque Performance over the month of March. All tuning work unfortunately to be put on hold while we go through this transition with the aim to be fully operational from the 1st of April, this also means tuning inquiries are likely not going to be answered until we are up and running. We will still be carrying on with general servicing over this time.
