Our Story

Torque Performance was establish in 1991 as a premium tuning shop for people that loved all things Automobiles. We also designed and sold dynamometers under the brand DynoTorque, with many still in operation in shops across the country to this day. We were one of the first to reverse engineer early Holden ECU's and assisted in helping some well known companies develop their ECU products .

Over the years much has changed, we have moved premises, upgraded our dyno, accumulated a massive range of tuning & diagnostic tools and tune files, and also in 2008 contracted to Honda NZ to become an authorized Honda service agent for West Auckland and we further expanded our involvement with Honda with the purchase of the Honda Dealership in Whangarei in 2016.

But till this day, we still stay true to what we do best which is ECU tuning. As the vehicle and technology has evolved, so have we and we offer tuning on most of the latest model vehicles on the roads today.

After 27+ years in business, Torque Performance's goal still remains to being one of the best tuning companies this country has to offer, and we still strive to better ourselves each day. Our motto for our company "Innovate or Die",  we think best explains our thirst to better ourselves each day, and into the future.
